Apocalyptica brought their C-Ello tour to the United States with special guests, Lacuna Coil after a two plus year wait due to the pandemic. With postponement after postponement, we thought touring would possibly never return, especially for such European bands as Apocalyptica and Lacuna Coil who would have to travel to their American fans. With their due diligence being completed, we were finally able to see these two bands bless us at the newly renovated Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. With roughly 1000 fans in attendance, the room felt great and the fans definitely came to see two all time greats.
The Italian superstars in Lacuna Coil also haven't toured in just over two years for obvious reasons, and for them to be the supporting act on this tour, was an amazing welcome back. Vocalist Cristina Scabbia always shows off her incredible vocal range, and this show was no exception, playing hits from over 20 years ago like fan favorite "Heaven's A Lie," to their newer stuff "Save Me" and "Reckless." This tour is a short one, but be sure to catch them soon, as they always make a great appearance.

Finnish Cellist's Apocalyptica finally made their return stateside post pandemic. This stop was in Hartford, CT, where they were met with a full house of eager fans ready to see the band blow their minds like they always do. Apocalyptica was originally made famous by their unique sound and vision when they made a record called Metallica by Four Cellos by showing the world that you can indeed make metal music with string instruments. Fast forward many years later, they've collaborated with many superstar vocalists to make hits such as "I'm Not Jesus" and "Not Strong Enough," and on this tour, they were joined by none other than Franky Perez, who Apocalyptica recorded the 2015 album Shadowmaker with. Franky put all his energy into his performance by singing five songs with the band inlcuding their newest collab "I'll Get Through It." Apocalyptica did not disappoint and closed their show with a few Metallica songs, showing their roots. Lets hope they're back in the states again soon!
