I've been feeling very inspired of late, so I thought I would do something a little different and write a column about national bands in the country I live. This could be a one off thing or it could turn into a regular column (who knows), but one thing is for sure, there are plenty of talented bands to talk about!
At this point you're probably thinking, "where the hell does she live?!"
I live in Spain and have been here for over 12 years, and in that time my world has been opened up to the national (and local) music scene (BIG THANKS to my Jedi Master Peter Ezra Smith - You have opened my eyes (and world) to the scene and I am forever grateful, baby!)
The Spanish not only excel in sports, they also excel in music and I am amazed at how many talented musicians there are, it is absolutely mind blowing, and to be honest I find myself listening to more and more national bands than new International bands.
As I mentioned earlier there are plenty of bands I could talk about, but that would mean being here all night haha, so I decided to start with four bands whom I adore.

Four piece rock band from Cádiz who formed in 2012 and have released three albums - (Backward States of Society, Get Electrified, Turning Wheels). The band is the essence of classic rock n roll while adding a modern day twist to the mix.
Rock is more alive than ever when The Electric Alley take to the stage, as these four musicians evoke energy, passion and unforgettable talent.

Five piece hard rock band from Barcelona who formed in 2012 and have released two albums - (Please Welcome, On The Rise). The band take you in a time machine back to the 70s with their classic rock sound.
They ooze style, class and know how to seduce the listener.

Rock & Roll power trio from Bilbao who formed in 2011 and have released 4 albums - (Delay, Welcome To Los Brazos, Gas, Live). The band blend blues, country, soul and rockabilly to create a perfect cocktail.
They are full of energy, carisma and undeniable talent.

Rock & Roll four piece band from Wind City who formed in 2014 and have released 5 albums - (Wind City Haze, Villa Modesta, River Sound Unleashed, Inception, El Secreto). The band unleash original rock & roll with an authentic American sound.
They are intense, full of flavor and mesmerizing.
All of the bands mentioned are on music streaming platforms for your listening pleasure, and there isn't really much else left to say, other than go and give them a listen and, ENJOY!
