Billy Idol made a recent tour stop at Mohegan Sun Arena and I know it is safe to say that with a Rebel Yell we wanted more more more! His recent tour features co-headliner Bryan Adams and runs from Aug 1- 12.
From the moment the 63 year old rock icon hit the stage to the moment he left, Billy Idol had the crowd in his powerful entertaining control. He opened with "Dancing With Myself" and right away fans were treated with his legendary moves and distinct vocal ways we all know and love. Beside him on stage is Steve Stevens who showed the sold out arena that he was a master guitarist and artist as well.
With Billy Idol giving us his fists to the crowd, shirtless moments, his signature lip snarl, and his one of kind vocals brought us all the memories we grew up with in the 80's. Steve Stevens with his style, behind the head guitar moves, epic guitar solos and more gave us more pure 80's adrenaline. The set started with two well known hits "Dancing With Myself" and "Flesh For Fantasy" before moving into a cover of "L.A. Woman" (The Doors). The encore treat was none other than "White Wedding". The sold out crowd experienced a nice 13 song set that featured all his hits and many extended moments.
