In This Moment & Sevendust - 5/11/2019 - Milwaukee, WI

Continuing their spring tour, In This Moment made their stop in Milwaukee, WI on May 11, 2019 nearly selling out The Eagles Ballroomat The Rave, with special guest Sevendust

Sevendust started their performance at 8:30pm hitting the stage with their hit "Dirty", which is a perfect song to get the night started. Sevendust is known for their high energy performances, and this show was no exception. For a band that's been around since the 90's, these guys still play each show putting in every effort. Vocalist Lajon Witherspoon even mentioned at one point that Sevendust had played this venue 22 times. Throughout their set, everyone was smiling, waving, and even blowing kisses to the fans in the crowd. For a band that has been around 20+ years, it's incredible to see them still take pride in and enjoy playing for their fans.

Sevendust's setlist:

Dirty Face To Face Reconnect Enemy Waffle Bitch Shine Thank You

Once the stage crews cleared off the stage, the infamous giant In This Moment curtain blocking the stage went up. For how elaborate In This Moment's stage productions are known to be, it didn't take long for the venue lights to dim and Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" to begin playing. As the song ended, In This Moment entered the stage behind the curtain to a recording of their song "Salvation". With stage lighting behind the band members, their shadows showed through the large curtain which made the crowd go wild. When "Salvation" ended the curtain fell revealing In This Moment's stage setup, and the band went into a cover of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle". With vocalist Maria Brink on top of a riser with her choreographed dancers sitting in front of her, each playing drums in sequence with one another. Though the costumes were familiar, the stage production changed quite a bit from previous tours, which was a pleasant surprise. The new stage production closely resembles a witch ritual in front of a church, presumably based on Salem, MA. Bright lights, smoke, CO2; everything you can envision an In This Moment concert to be. In This Moment has earned the reputation to have a very theatrical stage production throughout the years. With all of the work put into this production, nothing has changed in the incredible artistic visions this tour.

In This Moment's setlist was a perfect choice for the show, engaging both new and old fans. Longtime favorite songs, as well as new songs, can likely be heard on this tour. Throughout the entire set, the theatrics never ended which keeps In This Moment's reputation accurate. Likely the bands most popular and well-known song, "Whore", was saved until last. To say this show ended with a bang would be an understatement as confetti and balloons rained on top of the audience.
