Korn made a stop at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin this past Tuesday in support of their recent album release, Requiem, with special guests Chevelle and Code Orange.

Though tickets didn’t sell out, you wouldn’t be able to tell by the looks of it. If you haven’t been to the Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center, it looks as it sounds; The Coliseum is a giant dome like building. No matter where you looked, fans were occupying the area. Though this wasn’t a surprise being one of the first concerts at the venue since before Covid. Regardless, for a rock show? It’s great to see so many faces out.
The guys in Korn knew how to build up the suspense as the stagehands set up the stage behind a large cloth branded with the bands name; There’s something about being unable to see what’s to come until the lights dim, and the curtain drops as the performance starts. Which is exactly what happened, and the entire room exploded with yells as Korn bust into their new song, “Forgotten”. For a band that’s been around nearly 30 years, you wouldn’t be able to tell from the energy that everyone puts out on stage.
Unfortunately, Korn only has two more shows on their spring tour after the Madison date. Luckily, a summer tour with Evanescence was recently accounced! If you weren’t able to get out and see them with Chevelle and Code Orange, definitely make it a point to try to make it to one of their summer dates.
